THE AEONS

OVERVIEW

The universe is guided by seven Aeons, powerful and enigmatic entities that emerged in the wake of the Great Calamity 6000 years ago. These Aeons are responsible for creation and destruction, shaping galaxies, extinguishing stars, and granting blessings to those deemed worthy. Yet, their true nature remains unknown. Their origins, intentions, and even their biology exist beyond mortal comprehension. The only certainty is that they must remain steadfast in their governing principles (e.g. wealth, order, etc.) or face annihilation themselves.

Though their power is immense, the Aeons rarely intervene directly in the affairs of mortals. Instead, they offer their blessings selectively, empowering individuals or factions who align with their principles.

Each Aeon is served by their "children"—divine beings whose domains reflect the philosophy of their progenitor. These Gods interact more closely with mortals. They are patrons of the chosen, shaping destinies, granting favor, and ensuring the legacy of their Aeon's ideology endures.

CALAMITAS OF CHAOS

Calamitas believes that only through destruction can true creation emerge. Chaos is the great equalizer, leveling all structures so that new ones can rise. They view stagnation as the ultimate enemy, seeing themselves as a necessary force to challenge complacency and bring forth evolution. Calamitas is neither cruel nor kind—it simply is.

Followers of Calamitas embrace disruption and change, often leading lives of rebellion and upheaval. They see destruction as a cleansing force, a reset for the world. Their prominent factions include the Calamitas Brotherhood and the Voracity.
